Inappropriate Blog, But worth it. July 1st, 2007

This blog troll (2) loves politically motivated and sarcastic blogs. Suck my Caucus is very much like TheOnion.com only more enjoyable.

Check out this excerpt:

Show Your Docs! Show Your Docs!

President Bush said he would not provide to Congress the subpoenaed documents that could shed light on the firings of federal prosecutors. He said, "I reject it on environmental grounds, since all Congress wants to do is make a whole bunch of copies of them, which is bad for trees."

If that doesn't make you laugh I am not sure what will. This team of bloggers seems to go back and forth most of the work day scanning articles and making these hysterical re-writes. They seem to try to out-do each other in hilarity, and we benefit from their one-ups. Great job!

Featured Blog - Week of July 1st, 2007

The blogtrolls had a busy 'vacation' week and we are proud to feature Citizen of the Month as our featured blog this week. Neil is a very talented writer/blogger with a great sense of humor and creative with his themes. Not only does he feed the trolls with blog talk, but he also features well written 'stories' and we highly recommend following the three posts about the baby bird he encountered. I'm sure being a featured blogger isn't anything new to Neil but we are excited to have him on our blog.

Vacation

The blogtrolls have taken an unexpected vacation this week. We'll be back next week with new blog material (after some extensive trolling) so you can spend less time looking for blogs, remember; we waste time so you don't have to.

Blog Trolls are Amused Easily - Week of June 17th, 2007

The blogtrolls have been keeping their eyes on the following blogs this week:

Sweepea's Lounge
Oh she is funny, consistently so. Definitely check out the tagged entries 'Scenes from a Dumpster'

Things Look Like Things
We trolls aren't too sure of what is going on at this photo blog, but we are intrigued.

Peter Dooling's photos are breathtaking.

The trolls were all about multimedia this week.

Featured Blog - Week of June 17th, 2007

Congratulations to:
I Can Has Cheezburger?

Maybe it's the mind-numbing fun, or just the bitterly sweet photos of animals with sarcastic captions that caught this blogtrolls attention, but I am hooked on this blog. It's a photo blog that has provided countless hours of entertainment in the cubicle this week. It's not our usual brand of featured blogs, but sooooo worth spending a few minutes browsing the photos. There are a couple captions throughout that are more entertaining to those that follow the blog, however captions of kitties saying lines from 'Silence of the Lambs' will quickly make you feel at home.

Blog with a Cause - Week of June 10th, 2007

In lieu of a blah blog this week the trolls have decided to be a little more inspirational with the "Blog with a Cause" winner.

Congrats to mamaVision
mamaVision is an ex-model turned inspiration to those with eating disorders. She is single handedly taking the on the internet 'pro-ana' move one blog entry at a time. This blog offers a great support system for those coping with eating disorders as well as a great source of information. Give it up to mamaV!

Featured Blog - Week of June 10th, 2007

Congratulations!!! And thanks for the laughs
The description on the site is as follows:

People leave a lot of stuff behind at the fishbowl printers. This blog is a compliation of the more interesting things I find: my comments written in pen. All pages that you see on this site are ones that no one claimed. This first letter, addressed to "David Copi, Mr." is from a group of girls that found their apartment unlivable. They write "Due to the large ceiling leak in the kitchen, faulty stove, and lack of fridge lights we have been unable to cook in the house, forcing us to eat out for two weeks." Those poor girls and their unlit fridge. Read about the "reparations" [sic] that they need by clicking the thumbnail below, which leads to the larger image.

This is a very humorous and entertaining blog filled with extremely funny stick people drawings to compliment the ever so comical sarcastic side notes. It's definitely a great blog to read when you need a quick pick-me-up.

Blah Blog - Recent Snoozer - June 3rd, 2007

This week's 'Blah Blog' goes to
PostSecret

We are a bit hesitant to post this as our first 'blah blog' simply because PostSecret used to be a great read, but lately...ZZZzzzZZZzzZZz. It seems that little care is put into posting the Sunday Secrets and most of them are not really secrets anymore, they are just random statements that are too general, less personal. It's sort of like the decline of the fortune cookie, not so much a fortune anymore...they are more like fact cookies. Anyway, PostSecret, please raise the bar!

Featured Blog - Week of June 3rd, 2007

Congratulations to
All & Sundry
Our first "Featured Blog" goes to an amazingly entertaining writer and possibly a stand up comedic secretly on the side. All & Sundry's blog has an amusing mix of every day oddity's as well as interesting discussion topics. I have to admit that I was stunned to see such a respectable response to a hot topic (gun control) handled so well by her devoted readers. So not only will you gain a great blog to read, but an intelligent and worthy community of readers/bloggers.

Welcome one and all!

We are blog trolls...basically, just as our header states, we waste TONS of time on blogs so that you don't have to. Each week we will be posting a "Featured Blog" of the week as well as some that we would recommend maybe not spending too much time on. Feel free to submit your blog for review, especially if you'd like to gain a few more readers. You can e-mail the link to:

blogtroll1@gmail.com or blogtroll2@gmail.com

So, who are we you ask?

Introducing Blog Troll 1:
i'm still in school and perhaps will be for some time to come. i'm in no hurry to join the working world, so procrastination is a top priority. i'm fairly new to the blogging world, however i've found myself already addicted. might as well put the time i invest into searching the web to 'good' use.

Introducing Blog Troll2:
I'm just a girl, living in the south, but a northerner at heart. I work...and work...and work. Blogging tends to be my stress relief and what better way than to make a hobby of scouring the net for new and interesting lives on blogs? Good-times. I am one sarcastic bastard...so I hope you aren't easily offended. Sit back and relax..enjoy the ride.
